BABY ANNOUNCEMENT & TIME PLAQUES
As my friends and family have started to grow their families, I have had the honor of creating arrival announcements and time plaques. I do not attach any of the acrylic elements or numbers, but will attach names upon request. I ask for any nursery or baby shower theme for the acrylic pieces so that it matches other purchased and existing decorations. Evertyhing is designed in AdobeIllustrator and cut on my GlowForge Laser Cutter.

In leu of a guest book, I designed and laser cut blank ornament for our guests to write their names and advice and/or well wishes.
LASER CUTTING
I backed Glowforge as a Kickstarter in 2015, my machine was delivered in 2017 and I have never looked back.
Below is a reference picture of what my childhood home looked like.
Left is the birdhouse of my childhood home and my first laser cutting project. The design was mapped and outlined in Adobe Illustrator, and an SVG file was uploaded to the GlowForge app, to the laser cutter. Once cut, I painted and glued everything together.
I also ensured that the entry hole was the right diameter for birds local to my mother's region, and a hinge bottom to clean out the nests in between uses.
